The starting of this semester taking JN201 was a difficult one. At first i was not even sure if i was in school. For the first week, i was not even registered. I t was in the middle of the second week that i found out that i was registered. So finally i was registered. It was all a little new after not being in school for some time. I had loved the time i had to myself. The trips around Fiji and seeing the new places i had not seen, was breathtakingly beautiful. Fiji is awesome and we have a very rich heritage.
During the semester i have come to learn more about layouts. I have alsoalso learned that to be a journalist is to have no friends. Then i started thinking that i do take journalism as a major, but then i also take Social work so how am i supposed to have no friends, when i also want to help my people. So i thought that development Journalism is most probably my kind of Journalism.
Plans:
*To pass this unit
*Be good in Journalism
*Find out how to get back my love of writing, still not sure how to.
*Try and be better at doing layouts
*Keep practicing on photoshop
*Take better photographs
*Understand lightings better
*Understand cameras better.
Podcast:
My podcast is based on my trip to Yadrana, Lakeba in Lau 2 years back. I had taken pictures everywhere and whenever i could. While looking through the pictures, i found the ones where everyone was always sleeping. I thought that it was a little humorous and i wanted it for my podcast. I did not speak however because my voice is too distorted so my music speaks for it all. I hope you enjoy it.
This trip was to help build an evacuation centre there because there was a time when a small tsunami had hit earlier that time and it had coe right through to the land and there was no evacuation center. While at that island the people always made grog for us and soe home brew as well.
This was always what happens afterwards.
